Celebrating Star Wars Day from home? Stream “The Bad Batch,” a new animated series that arrived on Disney+ on Tuesday, along with a bunch of other programming for “Star Wars” fans to binge on May the 4th and beyond. “The Bad Batch” is a sequel and spin-off of “The Clone Wars,” and follows elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (that were first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) finding their footing in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Bad Batch are a unique squad of clones with genetic differences from their brethren in the Clone Army, as each possesses a singular, exceptional skill. The extraordinarily effective soldiers, and a formidable crew, take on daring mercenary missions while struggling to stay afloat and find new purpose, in the post-Clone War era.
Archie Panjabi, Michelle Ang, and Dee Bradley Baker, star in the 16-episode series produced by Lucasfilm Animation, and created and developed by Dave Filoni and Jennifer Corbett, the latter of whom also serves as head writer.

In addition to “The Bad Batch,” Disney+ debuted a few other programs to celebrate Star Wars Day such as “Maggie Simpson in ‘The Force Awakens From Its Nap.’” The short stars Maggie Simpson in an epic quest to track down her stolen pacifier. Maggie sets out on an adventure that brings her face-to-face with young Padawans, Sith Lords, familiar droids, Rebel scum, and an ultimate battle against the dark side.
Additional programming on Disney+ includes, “Star Wars Biomes,” which takes viewers on a virtual tour through some of the “Star Wars” films’ iconic locations including Hoth, Tatooine, and Sorgan. Lastly, “Star Wars Vehicle Flythroughs” gets you up-close-and-personal with two of the “Star Wars” films’ beloved ships: the Millennium Falcon, and an Imperial Star Destroyer.
