Seventeen years after “Dawn of the Dead,” Snyder is returning to the zombie genre for the explosive Netflix heist-action movie “Army of the Dead,” which looks to be as big of a summer movie tentpole as Netflix will have later this year. Starring Dave Bautista, “Army of the Dead” follows a group of mercenaries who plot a heist on a Las Vegas casino during a zombie outbreak. The supporting cast includes Theo Rossi, Tig Notaro, Garret Dillahunt, Raúl Castillo, Omari Hardwick, Hiroyuki Sanada, Matthias Schweighöfer, Ella Purnell, and Ana de la Reguera....
“We haven’t locked down the scheduling for Season 3 yet,” Landgraf said during his virtual Q&A session. “It’s finished shooting. It shot primarily in Europe, actually, and it’s in post-production, but it’s a lengthy post-production process. Part of the reason it’s lengthy is because they’re in production on Season 4 right now in Atlanta.” Landgraf went on to say that all the scripts for Season 4 have been written, and he “adores” what’s been crafted for both upcoming seasons....

The upcoming finale to the “Magic Mike” trilogy, based on Channing Tatum’s experiences as an exotic dancer, is set to have a “strong” female protagonist and an untraditional love story at its heart. Carolin looked to both Schumer and Beyoncé while crafting the “Magic Mike Live” musical showcase in Las Vegas, which launched in 2017. “It’s almost like if an Amy Schumer stand-up comedy act merged with Beyonce’s backup dancers who just happened to take their shirts off, merged with ‘Alice in Wonderland,’” Carolin told Variety of the hit show....
